Systems Administrator Systems Administration (SA) is required for all Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Information Technology (IT) systems and networks at the Lakehurst, Patuxent River and St. Inigoes locations. This effort requires critical, expert technical support in accordance with all federal, Department of Defense (DoD)/Joint/Department of the Navy (DON), and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) laws, statutory documents, instructions/directives, mandates, guidance, or other governance as applicable. The contractor shall provide systems administrator support for the DoD IA Process, Title 40 USC/Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA) compliance, and Federal Information Systems Management Act of 2002 (FISMA) compliance for IT systems under NAWCAD and/or NAVAIR cognizance to include labs, offices and test facilities. Part of PMA-262, the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS) Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Integrated Program Team (IPT) manages a cutting-edge defense acquisition-program that will provide continuous battlespace awareness to Joint component commanders around the globe. The BAMS UAS IPT is comprised of further sub-IPTs that focus on disciplines like air-vehicle, support, systems engineering and integration, interoperability, communications, and ground-components. PMA-262 utilizes Information Technology (IT) resources provided by the Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) contractor as well as non-NMCI, government-owned equipment for program-management and technology-development/Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities. Duties & Responsibilities Contractor Support Staff (CSS) are familiar with SA? specifically for a DoD acquisition program-management activity, well-versed in using common tools and techniques used for information-management and associated process-automation and integration, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills. The SAs main focus will be to assist the PMA-262 Information Assurance Officer (IAO) with managing effective and constructive collaboration with all the disciplines across the BAMS UAS IPT, the prime contractor for BAMS UAS, and the NAVAIR Information Assurance Program Office (IAPO). The duties and responsibilities of the candidate include, but are not limited to: Create/Manage user profiles in NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) Develop, maintain, and implement NMCI services strategy for each individual (user needs and requirements) in realm of responsibility Ensure that necessary NMCI Contract Line-Items (CLINs) are in place and approved by the cognizant (Assistant) Customer Technical Representative (CTR/ACTR) (whether ceiling has been reached or not) Follow-up on status of NMCI-services on order to ensure they are ordered and deployed as required (track under which MOD items are submitted and their respective delivery status) Required Skills Security + certification Please refer to job code 84684 when responding to this ad.
