The International Human Resources (IHR) Team Lead for Siemens Global Shared Services (GSS) Division will assist the Manager in ensuring consistent, timely, and accurate administration of international assignments. To achieve this goal, the individual will focus on ensuring consultants and analysts follow the Siemens delegation principles, country delegation guidelines, and Global Expatriate Management (GEM) process handbooks. The individual will provide guidance to the consultants and analysts in the interpretation and application of delegation principles, guidelines, processes and complex delegation issues. The individual will also be responsible for providing delegation consulting on a limited number of delegations. In regards to these limited number of delegations, the individual will be responsible for coordinating, with all applicable internal or external parties, all delegation related matters assigned to them, bringing them to there full and final conclusion. Finally, the Senior Consultant / Team Lead will be responsible for training new consultants and analysts joining the team while assisting the Manager with team projects as applicable. Essential Job Functions: ? Supervise consultants and analysts work load. ? Review all consultants and analysts worksheets, payment requests, and delegation letters for accuracy before distributing to the client. ? Ensure the IHR team members accurate data input and use of the IHRIS delegation system. Also, ensure that team members maintain all mandatory documentation. ? Advise consultants and analysts on the interpretation and application of delegation principles, guidelines, processes and complex delegation issues. ? Second level of escalation for expat/delegation issues that were not resolved by consultants or analysts. ? Train new consultants and analysts to the IHR team in order to be able to perform all aspects of their job description. ? Administer all US delegation types to and from the US in accordance with above mentioned principles, guidelines, and processes. ? Maintain a satisfactory delegate survey results average as determined in the annual PMP by management. ? Manage special projects as they arise, such as special client requests, research, and on-site presentations for US Operating Companies. Qualifications: ? BS/BA required. ? Minimum of 3+ years experience in expatriate/delegation administration plus 2 years as a team lead for a global organization. ? Big 4 expatriate consulting environment strongly preferred. ? Fluency in a second language desirable. ? International employment experience a plus. ? Knowledge of international delegation policies, procedures and processes. ? Solid understanding of international taxation, immigration and/or accounting. ? Highly analytical with excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite & expat databases) a must. ? Excellent interpersonal skills; a passion for customer service; flexibility; innovation; high-energy self-starter who brings the utmost level of integrity to the company. ? Superb organizational, communication (verbal & written) and networking skills with an emphasis on building successful business partnerships. ? Sensitivity to intercultural issues. ?
