Field Svc Tech 3

Previous field experience is desired. This position is based in Washington DC and will have account responsibilities for Washington DC and Baltimore, MD metro area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Installing, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on all Siemens Diagnostic instrumentation (primarily Vista); providing on-site customer training on operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting; responsible for delivering both timely and effective repairs as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction; managing financial performance within their territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management; managing company assets to include a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc. * Must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to operate remotely from the main office with minimum supervision; demonstrate excellent judgment in customer relations, managing company resources Skills/Qualifications: Strong competency in instrument systems technology to include mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology; experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems; must have excellent communication skills and be able to interface with customers in a positive professional manner; ability to think and act in a logical and methodical way; must be computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and be able to utilize computer-based tools for reports, email and for general communication; 1-3 years experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments preferred; associates degree or equivalent in military experience preferred; excellent driving record required.
