(http://www.it-solutions.usa.siemens.com), PC Technicians demonstrate an ability to interface and consult with all levels of Management and interface with Customer contacts, as a Strategic Business Partner. Each has a proven history of generating outstanding business results. In this role you will provide technical service support on the following: Primary skill set: Windows XP, MS Vista and Windows 7 and Office 2007 and Office 2010. Secondary skill set: Server 2008, TCPIP, RAID, VLAN, Fiber Switches, VPN and ISA Server. Hardware Support: HP, Dell and Lenovo H/W Support. Hardware: diagnostics, troubleshooting and parts replacement on laptops, desktops and servers. Software: installation, configuration, and problem resolution in pc/network environment. Required: Excellent understanding of the customer service business 2+ years previous hands-on deskside support experience Experience replacing desktops/laptops components CompTIA A+, Server+, and Network+ Certifications 4 major OEM platform certifications - Dell, HP, Toshiba, and Lenovo Desired: MCP and/or MCSE Certification AS degree in Electronics or Computer Science Related military/technical training or equivalent experience Responsibilities include: Install and implement connectivity and high-end systems products. Participate in the configuration and support of internal systems. Perform repair and parts replacement on desktops/laptops/tablets, some printers and servers. Monitor and document daily service activity. Demonstrate excellent customer service and customer interaction (via phone, e-mail and face to face). Manage continuous improvement of service delivery, maintain schedule (demonstrate excellent time management) and interaction with other departments. Attain working knowledge of both routers and switches in local area networks and wide area networks. You will need to have a clear understanding of active directory utilizing group policies and SMS. You must be proficient with Microsoft applications, Windows Vista, Windows XP and Server 2003.
