Date Posted: 11/06/2009 JMWA is looking for Engineering Technicians (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) for our SC client location! Description: Provide comprehensive technical support for ongoing facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM) of the U.S. Army Reserve facilities including environmental support activities. Work concerned is with systems, plants, machines, equipment, and instruments for the generation, transmission, measurement, or utilization of heat or mechanical power. Included are steam and internal combustion power plants, automotive and ordnance equipment and components, heating and air conditioning, piping, machine tools, and instruments and controls. Additionally, work is concerned with buildings, structures, soil mechanics, roadways, water resources, airports, and other phases of engineering. Assist with research, development, design, evaluation, construction, inspection, production, application, standardization, testing, or operation of engineering facilities, structures, systems, processes, equipment, devices, or materials. Perform field surveys of real property and infrastructure necessary during project development. Required: Minimum of 5 years practical Construction Oversight and hands on mechanical (i.e. HVAC etc), civil (vertical) and/or Electrical experience required. An engineering degree is desired. Broad knowledge of Engineering, Construction and the requirements associated with constructing projects.
