Solutions Delivery Manager/SWAT Team Manager/Financial Back Office Operations/Trading Systems



Our client is a financial company seeking a Solutions Delivery/Swat Team Manager responsible for partnering with the different business units in the company’s Back Office trading (Operations) to help identify and prioritize the requests to the current stack of production applications running the day to day business.  The Manager will have a team of Business Analysts and Developers and must be hands on to perform project management and business analysis along side the team.  The Manager requires demonstrated hands on Project Management skills within an Investment Bank or Hedge with strong business and people management experience.  Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile and Scrum) and have the ability to be flexible and adaptable to which one fits the individual projects.  Must be able to mentor and coach team members and the business through an Agile SDLC process. Strong PMO skills.

 

Position Requirements:



Must have recent experience in an Investment Bank or Hedge fund Back office operations, with an emphasis on managing and prioritizing projects and a team.



10 years of overall experience with 5-6 years of project management experience



Experience with all stages of SDLC, with the proven ability to execute a development project from inception to completion.



A background in application development and support.



Project Management Certification (PMP) strongly desired.
