Modis is seeking experienced Sr J2ee Architect for one of their clients
Our Client, located in Ft Washington, PA; is the leader in their Industry.  Our client desires to engage the ideal candidates on a contract basis for 6 months with the intent to hire this person.

The client is seeking J2ee Architect with the following experience and credentials: 

Responsibilities include:
The Enterprise Architect collaborates in the development of standards for web-based applications and middleware; and ensures consistent application of those standards throughout the enterprise. The Enterprise Architect works with project teams across the organization to achieve this. The interaction is primarily through design discussion and mentoring, which focuses on the optimal way for each project team to develop an application solution in keeping with sound architectural principals and consistent with the governing enterprise architectural strategy.



Required Experience & Skills
„Ï Helping project teams make the best decisions about how to structure their applications.
„Ï Reviewing development team code to ensure best practices are followed.
„Ï Providing guidance for development teams on how to modularize their application into cohesive, reusable services.
„Ï J2EE 1.4 platform APIs
„Ï Spring MVC and Web Flow
„Ï Struts
„Ï WebSphere Application Server including deployment, tuning, and troubleshooting
„Ï Demonstrated decision-making and leadership abilities
„Ï Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
„Ï Strong verbal and written communication skills
