Modis is seeking an experienced Project Manager for one of their clients due to growth and required staff demands.
Our highly respected client in the Insurance Industry has an immediate need for the ideal candidate on a Contract to Hire basis for their King of Prussia, PA location.
Position Entails:
Solid Project Manager with a strong background in application development project experience
Technically inclined PM who has been involved with large company application development project work (SDLC as it relates to development process). This is a Microsoft Centric environment.
Responsibilities:
This position will be serving as the primary liaison between the company and multiple concurrent customer projects having primary responsibility for all project management tasks. This role will also encompass developing, managing, and communicating detailed project plans to ensure that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed specifications. * Experience working with external clients is necessary*
Must haves:
4-6 years of experience interfacing with customers in a project management role
Minimum of 3 years of experience in all of the following areas: HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Apache, or equivalent web server. Must have at least 3 years of experience in the .NET languages and systems: ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, ADO.NET.
Experience in implementing projects from beginning to end for small to mid size companies.
Effective customer interview skills
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and process improvement methodologies
Excellent time management and organizational skills required
Effective negotiation and communication skills
Expert with Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Visio
Must be able to Multi-task
PMP Certification is also desirable.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, MIS, Computer Science, or related area.
