J2EE Senior Developer

Contract to Hire opportunity with an excellent company!

As a J2EE Senior Developer, you will be a key participant in the design and development of various enhancements and strategic projects. Our solution is deployed in a unix environment using WebSphere Application Server v 5.1, MQSeries, and an Oracle 9i database requirements.

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of J2EE design and development experience, 5 years of Java development experience, including creation of Java Server Pages (JSPs), servlets, and Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs).
Very strong object-oriented design and development experience, specifically in the area of J2EE design patterns such as Model View Controller, Command pattern, Session Facade, Data Access Object pattern, etc.
Experience with WebSphere Application Server version 4.0 mandatory.
Experience with Java Profiling, JProbe, Perform Assure, Load Runner is a plus.
Experience writing SQL and using JDBC to connect to relational databases.
Experience deploying solutions to a unix platform, preferably including Sun Solaris. Experience over the full software development lifecycle.
Experience estimating the duration of design and development tasks.
Very Strong written and oral communication skills. BS in Computer Science or related field.
