Senior Level .Net Developer

Modis is seeking a self motivated, High Level Senior .Net Developer for a most respected client located in the Philadelphia area due to growth and required staff demands.

This position is a 3 to 6 month Contract-to-Hire basis with conversion to employ after a contract period of net less than 6 months.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and modify Microsoft ASP.NET applications, .NET components, Web Services, and Enterprise Services components.
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL database schemas and scripts, including views, triggers and stored procedures.
- Create technical documentation such as design documents, specifications, software architecture documents, and instructions
- Analyze design and architectural issues and questions
- Follow up with issues in an efficient manner, including working hand in hand with Quality Assurance, Project Management and/or Business Analysis.

Required Skills:
- 6 or more years experience in Software Development-large scale enterprise projects preferred.
- Experience developing secure web-based systems and system integration.
- Excellent knowledge of VB.NET, .NET Framework, Web Services, Enterprise Services, SQL Reporting Services and ASP.NET.
- Strong knowledge of technologies including Windows 2000, Windows 2003, IIS, ASP, VBScript, COM+, Crystal Reports, VB6, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
- Strong knowledge of UML and object modeling.
- Working experience with iterative development processes such as RUP.
- Experience creating secure web-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of AJAX is a plus, not required.

Certifications:
MCSD or MCAD Preferred.
