Classifieds Searching Tips
Here's a few tips to maximize your searching results:
- Separate each search term with a space. No commas (,), quotes (") or booleans (and, or, but, not) are needed.
- Use the Radius searching to narrow down your search to a geographic location. Remember to check of the radius box to perform a radius search. If you select 30 miles around Philadelphia, PA, this will present any results found within a 30 mile circle of this location.
- Using 'All of the Words' - All of the words must be included somewhere in the ad to display a match (ie. searching on 'visual basic' will return any result with the word 'visual' AND the word 'basic' in the ad).
- Using 'Any of the Words' - Any of the words you include must be found to display a match (ie. searching on 'visual basic' will return any result with the word 'visual' OR the word 'basic' in the ad).
- Using 'Exact Phrase' - the exact phrase must be found to display a match (ie. searching on 'visual basic' will only return results that have the word 'visual' and 'basic' located next to each other in the ad).
